Passengers aboard the airline are set to enjoy high-speed connectivity during flights at no cost due to a recent deal involving the billionaire's satellite provider.

British Airways announced that this complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity provision from the satellite provider becomes offered for travelers in coach, business, and premium cabins from next month.
Expanded Rollout Across Multiple Airlines
The parent organization for the airline, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had reached an partnership involving the satellite firm for providing internet coverage across over 500 planes within their airlines, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.
Uninterrupted Internet from Boarding through Landing
BA stated that the rollout for this system was part of a seven billion pound “upgrade” initiative and would provide uninterrupted wifi service for travelers starting at boarding through landing, including when in flight over oceans and far-off locations.
Customers can link multiple electronics and they will not have to use a special login.

Present Wifi Services
Restricted wifi service is presently provided for BA travelers across nearly all of its planes using its .air service.
Members of the airline's loyalty club can send texts and plain-text emails onboard at no cost, whereas flyers wishing to watch audio, video, and movies on their flight if not flying in first class can expect to be charged from £4.99 to £21.99 for one connectivity bundle.

The provider uses a network comprising thousands with orbiting devices and is operated under SpaceX’s aerospace firm.
Ongoing Improvements for the Airline
Their management has been working to turn British Airways back after years of financial constraints, technology issues, industrial action, and large-scale layoffs.
