Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Missing Canine in Mexico to $20,000
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has boosted the reward for information concerning the missing canine Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of her last known location.
"Any sort of information concerning our pet Halo please contact us. Big reward for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and can be back with us shortly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Initial Reward and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded several pictures of the adored dog on Instagram.
A £7,500 bounty was initially announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's whereabouts after a seven days, Ramsey and his family doubled the amount.
"All we desire is our pet back," he expressed in another request on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet went missing.
The most recent picture post is a grayscale photo of the beagle napping, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "What I'd do to embrace you one last time sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also shared a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "pressing queries" surrounding the event and fear the family "could possibly not get explanations".
"To this day we are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's post stated.
The Wales captain signed with Mexico's first division team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his first appearance in the Mexican league in August.
