Bondi Announces Inquiry into Trump Adversaries and Epstein Links
This past Friday, the Attorney General designated Jay Clayton to oversee an inquiry into opponents of the President and their relationships with the late financier. This action came shortly after Trump instructed her to begin the investigation.
During an announcement, Bondi commended Clayton as “a highly skilled and reliable legal expert”. The official added, “This case will be addressed with speed and honesty to ensure public transparency.”
This action contrasts with a recent memorandum from justice department officials which indicated that the Epstein files did not warrant additional investigations. As per the document, authorities “did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties”
